When the design process started, there was no finished concept for the content yet. So I had to create a flexible component library for the VP Bank website team so they could later just add all their content in the right order and in to the right modules. The design decision i would make in this period will be the base for the design guidelines, which will be later used from another partner to create VP Banks new e-banking system. 

That means my design for the corporate site has to fulfill a lot of other different criteria, which were later transferred and needed in the new e-banking. With this in mind, I had to create a new and modern look for the Corporate Website, but in the same time guarantee a good visual usability in the e-banking of VP Bank.

I was responsible for the whole process in designing a corporate website. From analyzing their users needs, creating personas, making clickable UX prototypes and later on adapting the visual brand guidelines in to the digital form for a fully responsive web design.

One of the tricky parts was to analyze what different content modules they will later need and then having them to fit visually with each other in any possible combination. Most fun I had with the animated cinematographs and all the little micro animations, which give the website the special modern looking touch.

To get the feeling for the size of such a project, here are two screenshots of my Sketch files. One was for the UX Part and the first prototype to get all the functions and specs straight. The other one came later, included all the refreshed branding with the goal to get a first impression for the new look and feel.

With all the new branding, we challenged the motion concept too. Having all these nice illustrations and shapes, we added some little movements and effects into this website and made it look fresh and modern.

At the end, we had a happy client and a very clean and well-spaced website with all the needed foundation, to get now into the e-banking and redesign this part as well. Thank you VP Bank, it was really a fantastic project and time working with you.
