The Airmax Project was a sideproject in summer 2016. I created it as a birthday present for a very special person. It took me a few nightshifts, experiments and painting-fails until I got it like it was planned. It is probably one of the most limited sneakers in the world 1/1, the Airmax 90 Van-Edition.
Aglaya is a residental tower in Risch-Rotkreuz. The garden tower is a visionary form of living - nature already integrated into the building. The main purpose for the website was to promote and sell all the apartments during the construction phase to potential customers with an exclusive web-configurator.
Laser and stuff
First I had to prepare a vectorized template for the laser cutter. One run with the laser was to cut the shape of the sneaker in generel and the second run with to engrave the other different parts inside the sneaker. Later I painted the whole thing white and started with the color scheme and pattern details all by hand.

Getting in to the tiny details little by little.
Light it up!
In the second step I placed around 10m of LEDs on the backside of the sneaker. To have a smooth light situation I followed all the edges all around.
